| The owners of this converted oast house required a solid oak floor with individuality and character to enhance their home. Having reviewed samples at the Orlestone Oak showroom, they chose our character grade, worn-look flooring. Its subtle curved profile is aesthetically pleasing and extremely tactile, making it a pleasure to both walk on and view.
The rounded edges and gentle undulations reflect highlights which enhances the worn-look profile, drawing attention to the wonderful grain of our character grade flooring.
Each tongue and groove floorboard was manufactured using 22mm thick character grade oak which has subtle changes in tone and grain such as swirls and some dark knots which produces a beautiful floor of pleasing and restrained character.
We can also manufacture worn-look flooring using prime grade oak and in mixed widths.
